Families InFocus is a registered charity supporting families of children with disabilities or special needs. They operate a “Drop In” at Chelmsford every Wednesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the above address where parents and carers can relax and chat together, with or without their children. A similar but monthly “Drop in” operates at Braintree. They also organise treats and outings for children, lobby strenuously on behalf of disabled children’s rights and proper provision of care, including parenting skills courses, and produce a regular newsletter.

Special Needs and Parents (SNAP) is a registered charity that helps Essex families who have children aged 0-25 years with special needs and disabilities.
